Name: Lauren Goldman ‘12 (on right)
Hometown: Sharon, Mass.
Major: Business
Trend you love: Floral dresses and rompers
Trend you hate: John Lennon sunglasses
Person with great style: I love Nichole Richie’s style. She typically dresses boho chic, but looks radiantly elegant when she attends events. I also love dresses from the 1950s, they are so classic and timeless.
Name: Pauline Tastenhoye ‘10 (American University)
Hometown: Princeton, NJ
Major: International Affairs and Marketing
Trend you love: Rompers and jumpsuits made their entry last year, and seem to be sticking as a trend. Looks like they will be around for at least one more season! Also, high waisted skirts and shorts, they’re classy, elegant, and stylish.
Trend you hate: Ripped jeans. they looked cool about 5 years ago, now they just take away from a good outfit.
Favorite store in DC: Cusp, when I want to splurge, and otherwise you can never go wrong with Zara and H&M.
Name: Dani Ayoung ‘11
Hometown: Quito, Ecudaor
Major: International Affairs and Political Science
Trend you love: I like mixing dark and light colors as well as different shades of pink, orange and yellow. I really like bright colors and white for the spring.
Fashion inspiration: I try to be as unique as I can but I like a combination of Kim Kardashian’s sexiness with Paris Hilton’s use of pink and cute-looking outfits, but I am not a fan of looking exactly like someone or having a particular trend– I just like to dress how I feel.
